(IN)VOLUNTARY SELF-ISOLATION DURING COVID-19?

6 EASY STEPS FOR YOUR MENTAL HEALTH DURING COVID-19

Create a routine

Do not take this isolation as a vacation. Do a routine adapted to your situation: change your pajamas for normal clothes and avoid staying in bed all day: Daily delegate work schedules to everyone.

Set daily goals

Start, continue or finish that project that you had postponed for a long time: a book, a drawing, and why not start learning a language?

Take active breaks

Hydrate, stretch, breathe consciously (inhale in four seconds, exhale in six seconds, close your eyes and bring an image that brings happiness to your mind).

Contact someone

Call, text or contact that family member or friend that you promised to do long time ago.

Declutter your home

Organize what you have. Take out what you don’t use. Keep it in a box to be donated when the quarantine is over.

Disconnect to connect

From the television, the news, from your phone in order to connect with those who are next to you, and if you are alone, give your body a break from electronic devices.

Remember that if you must go out, avoid wearing the same clothes and shoes indoors.
